Highly esteemed by his contemporaries, the legendary conductor, composer and pedagogue Alexander Zemlinsky was born 150 years ago this October. His opera fragment Malva from 1912 had its world premiere at the National Theatre in Prague as part of musica non grata's Zemlinsky 150 festival.
